Elder Abuse Counseling

TPNY raises awareness about elder abuse in diverse communities. Program staff work within a culturally sensitive framework to empower senior women by offering counseling services, connecting them with senior benefits, and educating them about their rights. Counseling identifies and addresses emotional abuse, marginalization, fraud, financial exploitation, and more. Our team is culturally and religiously sensitive and speaks the following languages: Bangla, Dari, English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.

To enroll in counseling services for elder abuse, call our helpline at 718-550-3586 or our office at 718-262-8722.

ESOL & Citizenship Classes

Through English learning, students gain confidence to communicate independently. Our trained staff offer free ESOL classes geared toward the U.S. Citizenship Exam. Students learn to read, write, and speak in English and receive rigorous instruction on how to successfully file for and attain citizenship. The class is open to Muslim women over the age of 60 and is held both in-person and virtually.

To enroll in weekly ESOL and Citizenship Prep classes, call our office at 718-262-8722 or email us at info@tpny.org.
